First $200 day with Bing Ads + Clickbank....

Hi rjd1265, great inspiration!

I have a question about keywords, what do you suggest for learning which keywords will convert the best?
And other question, do you send user to your landing page and then to offer? Or straight from Bing Ad to offer?

Regards,
Martin

hi, can you tell me how to test, test and test!

Yes, it is simple. all you need to do is test

To answer all the questions about does it still work I can tell you form others i know it does...but I no longer am promoting on bing ads
because I am creating my own product/software to sell on clickbank.

When you do PPC ads you need to constantly monitor your account and I simply did not have time to do this.

However, my product is pretty much done and I will for sure be using Adwords and Bing Ads to test my site.

I do believe though that until the day I turned off the account I was making about a 75% ROI (spend $100 make $175)

- How many keywords do you start a campaign out with?
- Until what CPA target do you pause a non-converting keyword?
- What tracking software are you currently using?

Thanks :-) very enlightening thread

rjd,

My biggest issues as to why my campaigns don't have positive ROI are 1) too expensive clicks 2) bad landing page.

For clicks, I was paying around $0.5. I was using keyword + cure, solution etc. type keywords. How much were you paying and what type of keywords were you using?

For landing page, I had a blog with header, sidebar and quality content concentrating on a specific topic. It was not a review or a product-based post, but an informative 600 word post talking about a certain subject in the health niche. The article ended in a cliffhanger "Do you want to cure the condition X? If so, please subscribe below". This way, emails were costing me around 5 dollars each. Pretty much, eh?

BTW here's a post of mine in another thread concerning this.

Congrats op and thanks for chipping in some ideas here and there, been looking for some tutorial on setting up a "good" bing ad campaign and this thread is one of them.

Bing gives me less clicks than 7search but I must say Bing convert the best!

I'm a newbie to this but I'm confused about something and I'm hoping someone will answer my question.

Several people are asking landing page vs. direct offer link, but it seems like every product on Clickbank simply offers an affiliate link to a vendor's pitch page, which has a link at the bottom of it to the Clickbank sales form.

Do people mean linking to the vendor's pitch page when they say direct offer link?

It surprises me that a buyer would go from a separate "landing page" to "pitch page" to "sales page". I would think this would be cumbersome and any buyer would lose interest before getting this far. Of course, as I already said I'm a newbie and I've never made a Clickbank sale so I don't know.

If someone could clear this up for me I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Direct linking = using your affiliate link and linking directly to the vendors sales page. This should NOT be done

Landing Page = having your Ad go to your landing page that you design. Then you will put your affiliate link on that landing page which goes to the vendors sales page.
The reason for doing this is to soft sell the buyer before they go the sales page. Maybe have some testimonials on your landing page or free valuable information.

You should have an opt in box on your landing page as well to capture emails. Simply give away a free report related to the niche, or a video...something to get them to sign up....then you can always set up drip mail campaigns to gain there trust and get future sales.

This is the basics of what you asked so hope this helped out.

What's your product? If I like monitoring my account if I can earn money.
