FireFox soon to block 3rd party cookies

This will impact our earnings, but as ShareDream said, different tracking method will be implemented asap

Like what kind of tracking? Cookies are so important! And as affiliates, we need to make sure the networks implement a way of tracking that will work for Firefox users

This is already a possible function and has been for ages lol.

Most users don't have the latest version of firefox too.

I think business interests will have a talk with mozilla and this developer because blocking these cookies will change(and end many) business operations.

seems that it means that it blocks cookies from entering your browser from sites you havent visited. like when you go to a site and not only does that sites cookies load into your browser, but other sites cookies are loaded too, without you ever clicking on anything or visiting those sites

thats my understanding anyway

You can set firefox to block all cookies now... and I seriously doubt very many people do it.

It would be INCREDIBLY frustrating to the end user to have to re-login to a site very single time you click on a link.

I just delete all of my cookies and LSO files after I leave mozilla. I don't know who would want cookies blocked 100% of the time. Seems rather silly.

Seriously? I cannot believe Mozilla will do that. They will lose a part of its share that they cannot afford

Chillax, there's other ways to store information other than cookies

(And all of then are more efficient)

I figure it will affect affiliate marketers. As for my business, it won't have much impact.
