Firefox SEOBOOK rankchecker plugin and Google Serp Scraping

Ok, so I am wanting to code my own google serp scraper, I noticed when I do snag the links using ruby, I don't get the links for the serps, just the ppc links and the google site links..

What do I have to do to get the actual serp links?

Also, Seobook has a great rank checker plugin.. Is there a way to interface to it programmitacally? I could use AutoIt, but I would rather the interface be more behind the scenes if possible.

Any ideas would be great, thanks.
