So I spent my whole morning trying to clone Mac ID and such to change my IP(I got ebay+paypal banned).

No luck, until I finally screwed up DHCP lease I think...and I got disconnected.
Well, I've seen a few suggests that you phone up your ISP and ask them to renew your DHCP lease for you but I suspect perhaps you'd need a good reason for them to do so..., I just acted like a complete noob to internet and apparently DHCP lease do glitch out at times, therefore I just phoned up Verizon and asked them to assist me in the situation, they renewed the lease and boom! new IP! Just my 2cents for those who got IP banned by Ebay and Paypal. :p

(I've actually tried leaving my router off ALL NIGHT and no luck :( ...)

Good luck to all, and prosper

Sorry if this is a stupid queston, What kind of internet are you getting?
I though all you had to do was unplug your router for a new ip. Or go to command prompt and do
ipconfig /renew

Your connection may be dynamic, though you can not control when you want to change your IP with most FIOS connections. Your better off buying a proxy or something of that nature.

Should just get a cheap vps to handle all your online purchases.

Depending on what router you have. I have a DLink and I change my MAC address one number at a time, restart the router and unplug the modem as quickly before the router starts up again. 5 seconds, plug the modem power on and wait for router to connect. Instant unlimited IP addresses.

I change mine everyday. I'm on cable connection.

Heres the thing though, I believe I have dynamic also, but most likely they have an IP associated with your account... I've tried release DHCP and let it sleep, however it didn't work. The moment I signed on the network gave me my old IP back (maybe they associated with your auth code or MAC ID).

My solution was to call up the customer rep and told them there was a problem (I really f'ed up the DHCP by messing with my MAC ID, just change the last letter refresh and stuff and it would mess it up). It was a known problem that DHCP would sometimes screw up so they won't question you alot, they'll just ask you to do some diagnostic with them along the way and they should at the end "refresh the DHCP" and it should give you a new IP =P

This is obviously not a way for IP rotation but if you're banned from Ebay and PP all you need is a new IP and you're good to go! Like above suggested, VPN is a good choice too however I just see this as a simple solution to IP banned. :p
