He was the bus driver, it was his bus. Women always are complaining about equal rights, then the next moment "Don't hit me I'm a girl!"

I don't reduce women to anything, i respect the role they play in society, I respect them as individuals, and I believe, based on the way a woman is designed, they are more suited to hugging and kissing on, than punching.

I have mixed feelings on the subject. When a "woman" (that is no woman in the video), feels she can hit a man because she knows he won't hit her back, they get what's coming to them. But violence against women is no joke for the most part. But what an uppercut, he took a step into it!
 
Hitting a woman is never ok as I know I can take pretty much anything she can throw at me and laugh in her face. However, I do agree with loclhero. Treat people with respect or face the concequences. Give this man a can of mace.

Actually I think you are confused, as you've yet again highlighted the statement that because women's primary purpose is to serve your physical and sexual needs, we should all adopt a dual-standard. See, I don't presume to try to limit a woman's "role" in society based on what *I* want (like you do). I afford them the right and the respect that comes from defining themselves as they see fit. "Who they are" and "What they are good for" is none of my damn business, nor yours either.

There are certain things that naturally follow from that. No one has any sympathy for the (male) dumbass that runs his mouth off and provoking people in public until someone finally has enough of his dumb ass and punches his lights out. Right or wrong, legal or illegal is completely irrelevent. Act like a fucking dumbass in public, and certain things are naturally going to happen. Someone is going have enough of your shit, and then it's BOOM BOOM (what is it?) OUT GO THE LIGHTS.

The way I see it, the reason its completely taboo for a man to hit a woman is the obvious: we are the fairer sex. We are generally weaker, smaller, etc. So its an unfair disadvantage.

HOWEVER, I absolutely hate the fact that women play on this social expectation and then go on to provoke men because " They can ". Certain women know the score. They know a man can't hit you, so they will get away with absolutely anything they want.

Domestic abuse and other fighting in general sickens me, but I can honestly say if I hit any man, I wouldn't expect him to back down. I could actually see a full blown cartoon styled fight with us being consumed in a puff of smoke with little symbols flying out! lol I believe in equality and feel like if I were to be completely out of order and act like a little punk bitch then I can get whats coming to me.

That is not to say that I believe any particular other women deserve any type of violence being hurled towards them. Its just a personal stance. If I go nuts and get intimidating and my body language is suggesting or acting like a fight? I can't be offended when you give me one!!

She hit him, he hit her back. You know when someone is a threat to you, its easy to tell what someone's intentions are. If i can stop them from hurting me by striking first then i will. You're problem is you think we live in a "Civilized" world, there are people dying every day other stupid little arguments due to one of the participants pulling out a gun or knife. People don't need a reason anymore to harm someone, they would do it for fun. Now im not saying it couldn't have been handled better but what if she had pulled out a knife and killed him? Then you would be complaining that he didn't do anything when he had the chance.

At the end of the day none of us where there. He made a slit second decision and that's it.

I hate when girls play on the fact they're girls - cause they know they can get away with it... But like you say, it is a personal stance. I know 100% that if a girl hit me - even if it was a huge uppercut like in the video- I would not hit her back.

I understand where you are coming from, and yes the world isn't fluffy and kind- but at the same time, if we adopt and attitude where it is accepted to pre-emptively punch a female in the face because she 'might' be a threat- this just makes the world that bit colder & fucked up.

Yes she could have been armed etc, but to me she didn't look like a threat that warranted his action. She looked like a gobby little shit who was kicking off, he could have pushed or thrown her out - not act how he did.

Maybe this has happened before to him, no one knows for sure which is why its wrong for people to say he was wrong/right to have done what he did because unless you were there its hard to say how the situation should have been handled.. Don't get me wrong the situation could have been handled better but do you really think if he had thrown/pushed her off the bus that would have been the end of it? As i said before if you're prepared to mouth off to people, to put on a big man act then you should know that there are people who wont take shit, there are people that will retaliate and im afraid she found one.

Hopefully she learn't her lesson and will treat people with a little more respect.
