Finding prospects for direct mail method

Hey, guys. I was wondering: what are the best ways to find prospects for a direct mail client acquisition campaign. I've been using yellowbook and yellow pages, but there are other cities I want to target and those phone books cost over $150 each.

I would appreciate any help I could get here.

Yeah I would target the yellow pages, yelp, cl, other classified sites, your local chamber of commerce (if you have one), look for footprints on shitty yahoo site builder sites in your area (using city names), really endless places for you to gather this type of information. A little bit of knowledge goes a long way with the right implementation.
