Got an email from an internet marketer on how to find profitable niche :

Today, I thought I?d share a keyword research techinque I personally use, and have proven to be flawless thus far.

Now, this may be new to some, and not so new to others, but the TOP way to decide if a keyword is profitable is to spy on the

Pay-Per-Click ads of the keyword. Basically, leveraging PPC marketers in order to get a one-up on the competition. After all,

we?re working smarter, not harder, right?

Obviously, if there are ads constantly being shown for a keyword, or better yet, the SAME ads are being shown for the

keyword? well, they must be turning quite the profit, eh?

So, let?s get to it!

Step 1: Go to SpyFu.

Step 2: Type any keyword and hit the ?Search? button.

Step 3: Look at the 2nd table with the title ?Ads?.

Now, these ads are exactly a MONTH OLD. They have been up there a month ago, for this keyword :)

So? now you:

Step 4: Go to Google, and search for this keyword.

Step 5: Cross-reference the ads, and see if any are similar.

If a couple of the ads are the same, obviously, this means that the ads have been up for a while, and have been profitable

for the PPC marketer.

So, that?s the entire method! Simple, yet it works!

And it works exceptionally well!

So enjoy!

sounds good to me... gotta try..
have a question do you use market samurai for keyword research...
well if you do
which is more important in keyword research is it the OCI or the SEOC or SEOTC, the reason i asked is because when i do the filter specs that are on alot of these tutorials i only see them really talking about SEOC to set at less than 30000, but since i am doing affiliate marketing wouldnt i rather look for keywords that have a higher OCI, and mid competition... so in a nut shell would you rather have quantity traffic a.k.a.(browsers) or quality traffic a.k.a(BUYERS)
