As far as keyword research goes, I'm not going into it. There's plenty of posts devoted to that topic already, but an excellent place to find profitable niches is ClickBank. Go there and spend some time checking out anything w/ high gravity. You could literally find more niches there than you'll ever have time for.

Good Luck,

Here are the links to 4 free research tools to help you:

I think you should focus on one blog at a time - build it up until it's good an then leave it be. The only problem with blogs is that you need to update them, that's why a website may be better. My strategy is to focus on one niche for six months - during these six months I first create a website and sell products as an affiliate, after a while you create your own product, promote it etc. and then you move on to the next niche once the first one is working on autopilot.

just the very very very short version here tell me if im wrong:
ok so lets say i choose mountaineering footwear as my main keyword phrase.
1. i need to make a website or blog about it, and make at least 5-10 pages with articles and produts etc...dealing with this keyword phrase.
2. then i should find web 2.0 sites and other blog hubsites to place some content with links to my main blog or site...
3. get other BKlinks.
4. then let it sit and start making other sites and main blogs with the rest of the keywirds in this niche that have to do with mountaineering footwear or hiking footwear in general or just anything to do with mountaineering period...
is this basically what u r saying...

and i just gotta say but i did a test for htl website and WPblog and the blog actually got ranked faster... i think i will make money blogs and just have 5-10 static pages then make timed post, maybe new products and then just target the SEO for that product in that post because i have found out that SEs actually treat every post ass a page so i had more inner site BLs than if i had made an html website, i think u just have to do more SEO to each post and make the post long enough the SEs will pick it up because of the SEO onpage and offpage...
