Finding my FB password in the app

I'm trying to resurect an old Facebook account.

I still have access to it by only through the app and on a very old tablet.

I've forgotten the email I signed up with... I've forgotten the password;

Is there a method to getting the password from the app?

click forgot password, see what the system will ask next, if the system asks you to enter the code sent to your email while you don't remember your email password or any other method, then I'm afraid it's very difficult.
 
If you don't have a phone number associated with you, Facebook will ask you to verify your identity through other methods (like identifying friends). If none of these work, you can visit the Facebook Help Center for more information and instructions on how to recover your account.

yes you need to click forgot password and follow the instructions
 
Select forgot password and follow the instructions, if FB asks to verify via old email then it is really difficult
 
You can check in the settings to know which email or phone number is connected to that FB account, then you log in to the FB account on the new device, click forgot password and get the confirmation code from that email and phone number.
 
If you're still logged in on the tablet, try going to settings and see if you can update the email or add a phone number. Hope it works out

do you have your phone number or personal information set on it bro
 
If you're still logged in on the tablet, you can check in the settings to see which email or phone number is connected to that account. Try going into the settings and see if you can update the email or add a phone number. Then click on "Forgot Password" and get the verification code from the added email or phone number. If Facebook asks to verify the old email, then it will be really difficult.
 
Unfortunately, Facebook doesn’t allow you to view saved passwords directly in the app. If you're still logged in on the tablet, try linking the account to a new email or phone number via settings. That might help you recover it later.
 
Use registered email/phone number to log in again -> select "forgot password" and follow the instructions

Try Facebook's password recovery in the app or on a different device. You might need to verify your identity to regain access.

You should store your information to avoid forgetting, in case it is very difficult, you need to find a way to retrieve the authentication information.
 
Unfortunately, there’s no way to retrieve the password directly from the app without email or phone recovery access. Your best option is to check if the tablet saved the credentials in a browser or password manager.


 
If you’re still logged in to the app, this is a good time to take back control. While you can’t see your passwords in plain sight from the app, you can still go into your security settings to change your password without having to enter your old one. Also, add a new email or phone number to your contacts for future recovery. Also, if you’ve logged in through a browser, check your device’s password manager — sometimes your old logins are automatically saved without you noticing. Avoid logging out before updating your new information, as you may not be able to get back in.

if you’re trying to recover an old facebook account but don’t remember the password, use the “forgot password” option on the login page. facebook will guide you through verifying your identity via email, phone, or trusted contacts. if you no longer have access to those, you can try submitting an id to facebook’s help center for account recovery.
 
If youre still logged in on the tablet check saved passwords in the device settings or browser if used Sadly FB app doesnt show the actual password best bet is to update recovery info from inside the app before you get logged out
