Are there any methods for finding keywords that ya'll recommend? Besides using the common tools like SEMRUSH, AHREFS, etc...

Go to your GSC and check for keywords you're getting impressions for but did not cover very well in your articles.

Either improve your existing pages that attract impressions for those keywords or write a new article for them and interlink to it.

In my opinion those are the most reliable sources, keyword planner is good as well, try google the content you are insterested in and let google let you know what are the related content to it, that has worked for me a lot for keywords and for blogs content

You could try Keyword Planner which provides relevant anchors and compare them with search volume ,may be you will find the right keyword.

We use Google Keyword Planner, Ahref and SEMrush mainly.
Additionally, Keyword Everywhere and Moz.
