I have a bunch of blog posts on my topic but I'm a little confused about the best way to identify the best key words for ranking on Google before I plough ahead and start writing.
I have gone to 'wordstream', 'ubersuggest' etc. and it appears that my keywords have 0 (or very low) volume. I know that targeting low volume key words *can* be a good idea, but I am wondering whether I need to find higher volume words.
My blog is in the parenting and education niche. I feel its a great blog niche and will get a lot of healthy traffic but the keywords that I have come up with after planning the blog posts don't reflect that.
Should I go with the low volume key words because I know for sure that the posts are relevant and will be valuable and engaging, or have I got it all wrong?
I'm a little stuck and have been going round and round about it, which is why I decided to come here and get a proper education!
Thanks in advance for any help.
