Finding how much traffic a site gets

Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

Basically, my new venture involves selling an online service to businesses.

I want some stats and figures which shows that there website is getting traffic and with my service on their website (its a promo video) will attract more of these users to actually buy their product.

I know some of you may say, why don't you offer them a SEO service? But i have no skill and i am learning at the moment but i am a keen videographer and want to persue this venture.

Is there a website/ service which gives the data (traffic) stats of a particular website without having to own it.

I have been on quantcast, similiarsitesearch etc... but they are giving inaccurate data as when i typed in my own site it was very bad.

There's basically nothing that gives accurate stats for sites that don't get many visitors.

Rather than reminding people with websites that aren't in the quantcast top 50k they don't get many visitors, if your pitch involved Youtube vids with lots of views it would be easier for site owners to visualize lots of people watching videos you make for them.

I will be creating videos for the business' websites- if they know they don't get much traffic then surely they wouldn't bother with the video?

Semrush can help you much. But you need to work on its numbers to reach the real world values. Alexa may help too.

As above. It's simply not possible to get accurate information, but SEMrush will estimate for you by taking into account the websites rankings for particular keywords, the monthly search volumes for those keywords and then average click through rates.
