Finding great influencers for my original product?

Hi,
I'm trying to find an academic-related influencer. I had a quick look on youtube but not too sure. Wondering how other people might go about finding an influencer to sponsor a product/service? I'm not sure if youtube is the right approach either.
How do you decide which social channel to target and pick an influencer to approach?
I'm working on an AI presentation generator tool. Upload a PDF /document and it spits out a summary with images. I'm thinking academia might be the lowest hanging fruit for customer personas. Any tips much appreciated?

try some academic-specific platforms like ResearchGate

There's a lot of science communicators you can find across several platforms, YT isn't all that bad for it and so is TikTok. Twitter's a good place to endorse what you have though, honestly getting the word around is what the platform is good for.

Real. And that's why science communicators don't make content there, just updates and shiz.
