Finding expired web 2.0s - looking for the most effective way.

What is the best tool for finding expired web 2.0s nowadays(I am the most interested in expired tumblrs)? Which tool will be good and not that expensive? Can anyone recommend a good one?

Scrapebox all the way. Affordable and easy to use. And also most effective.
 
If you are looking for expired Tumblr with backlinks. Then you will need a lot of proxies. Scrapebox and Ahrefs. Even a VPS to do it right. Not cheap and not easy even at that to find anything decent.
 
Scrapebox would do the job, but then it is limited to a certain web2.0 properties only. To expand the search you may need other tools like DHG which supports a wide variety of web2.0 sites. However, due to the fact that not many web2.0 would release expired/deleted properties, you will only get to discover a selected few that actually provides you with ample amount of web2.0 properties that you can re-register. I am unable to find success on Blogspot or Wordpress, but DHG does find deleted Twitter sub domains rather effectively, and accurate too.

+1 for Scrapebox. I purchased the expired domain finder and run a site:[web 2.0] + keywords footprint. Does a pretty good job.
 
To perform this search for expired high PA Web 2.0 profiles, all you will be needing is Scrapebox and a bunch of really nice private proxies such as the ones by BuyProxies. First thing you will need to do is to start up Scrapebox and then install the following free addons:

  • ScrapeBox Vanity Name Checker
  • ScrapeBox Page Authority
The next thing you will do is get a Moz API key and enter it in your Page Authority addon. Simply open up the addon, click on “Account setup”, and then input your Moz API key there.
 
Scrapebox! It wasn't love at the first sight between me and scrapebox but after few days we built really stron relationship;) it helped me with so many diffrent projects. Totally recommend not only for scraping expired web 2.0.
