Finding email IP

    Is there a way that the IP address of an email sent to you could be discovered?

    Well there is many ways to find out a ip address of am email. Im using gmail. I don't use any other email service but gmail.

    open up the email and click on SHOW ORIGINAL (its under an arrow next to the reply button) and something like this should show up

    if the sender use a proxy or block it using thunderbird or whatever, you won't be able to get the senders real ip address.

    on yahoo click on FULL HEADERS

    and gmail click on SHOW ORIGINAL
