Finding dropped domains, help wanted

Hi all

Anyone have any tips on scraping the web to find dropped domain outside the likes of freshdrop / godaddy auctions etc.

currently i find directories relating to my niche crawl with xenu find any "no host found" check if the names expired , then check if and what backlinks it has pointing to it.

Any pointer or tips to improve my process ? im running out of ideas and places to look for domains.

Also this site: http://www.expireddomains.net/ is quite good.

yes, am using that one too.. I highly recommend it. You will get all domains (expired, deleted, GD, sedo, blah blah etc ) at one place.
