Hi,
A while ago i started a webdesign company with my girlfriend. Our business is to deliver websites to small businesses for a monthly fee.
We had 4 customers so far (since november) and those were all via email marketing. We send out hundreds of emails and we had some people emailing back but most of those 'leads' faded.
So we're doing some finishing touches to our last clients websites and now we're without clients! I think email marketing isn't the right way to go because we spend a lot of time on typing customized emails and no one bites.
So we need new ways to market our offline business. Our idea is to target local business owners without a website and explain them about the importance of having a website and what it does for them.
So my question would be what would be the best way to contact these local business owners? mind you if they don't have a website yet they're probably not that tech savvy).
I was thinking either cold calling or direct mailing them (sending postcards, flyers).
