if you have scrapebox its quite straightforward. If you dont install seoquake from here
and search google for :
Change "keyword" for what you are looking for.
Seoquake will show you the pagerank so its quite easy this way too.

This definitely is the manual way to do it.
There's one software (free) that automates the scraping and you can manually comment on each blog within the software, but I can't recall it. I'll have to get back on this (if I managed to find it).

Scrapebox is an essential tool if you want to do your own blog hunting. It is great for black and whitehat techniques.

These are good tips, but how do you automate checking for nofollow using these methods?
could you tell us a bit more about those "authority codes" please

He does a far better job explaining them than i could.
As for checking nofollow and ********, again scrapebox is the best, it has an addon that will check wordpress blogs for nofollow or ********, as well as a link checker that can check the nofollow or ******** of other platforms.
