Finding all files hosted by some sites??

Hey guys is it possible to view all the files under a domain? or search for a particular extension file.

For instance i want to look at ALL .txt files hosted by xxxxxxxxxx.com

Not unless they are morons. Would be pretty bad if you could so that on any site don't you think.

That is why it's good practice to anyways add an index.html to every folder.

But isnt there a way on google search that we can search for specific file extension right

Google can find indexed pages sure but not a list of files on their server. Not sure what tool india is referring to but I do not think it's possible that way.
