Finding Active Followers

I have a large txt file of twitter accounts, is there anyway to find out (weed down) which ones have been active (say the last month or so)

Ideally some util where I can upload 1 list and get an active list back.

view posts on timeline and check the data. Then filter set of users with posts/reply within range.
twitter api would be best.

Why spend all that time sorting them when you could spend way less time interacting with or following them all. Play the numbers game first. At the end of the day if you follow or interact with them all you are guaranteeing you will be doing so with the people you would have targeted anyway.
