I see people asking about niches so I thought I'd share this. You can find literally hundreds of ideas with the following, which is fortunately organized by number of subscribers so you can also gauge interest in the various communities/ideas.
So, if you are looking for a niche browse to the top reddit communities (you don't need to go to them just browse them here):
