So many seem legitimet with their high feedback and % satisified.

I am still fairly skeptical about it even though they are selling what I am looking for all relatively the same price and sealed.

My question is if a seller has 166 feedback and 98% positive... is it worth taking the plunge in for a lot @ a few hundred bucks blindly?

Obviously most would say no.

So how do you find a legit seller?

If you order from a seller on DHGate there is always a buyer protection.

http://www.dhgate.com/protection.html

Your payment goes to DHGate and not to the seller, and it is hold by them and only released to seller as soon as you inform them that your items have arrived and everything is alright.

If they send nothing or they send crap, you simply inform DHGate and you will get your money back .....

I used to use Dhgate but I felt it is more reliable to use a company directly instead of working with small sellers. Then I turned to bingotrans.com. They are great. You may try check it out and then there is no plunge in for any money at all.

dhgate buyer protection is pretty good. The seller doesn't get the money until you confirm shipment. You can also file claims etc all before the seller even sees the money.

yeah if the feedback is high its usually grand, what happens is some gobshites start putting in neg when they find out the Ray Ban sunglasses they bought for $5 delivered are actually fake, you should read some of the replies on their lol

Yes you are protected. I did get money back once when I got hustled by a noob.

Just be careful, I can give you a contact I used to become a silver member before I moved on to blackhat and Internet marketing (info products).

i use dh gate for alot of stuff. just take your time and read carefully the feedback. make sure the seller has recent feedback. i bought from a guy who had 7 feedback but they were all from the last 2 weeks, and i got my stuff as and when he stated. :)

I've bought from people with under 100 feedback before, and had no problem. One thing that worries people when buying from China is having issues with the tracking numbers. The numbers don't always show up right away. And sometimes the people in the post office are too lazy to even report it. There was one time the tracking number didn't show anything listed until the day I got it.

DHGate is pretty safe compared to a few other similar sites. The buyer protection is great. You have to confirm the item was received before the seller ever gets the money. The downside to this is if you buy under the assumption that the item is real. No, that is not a real Android phone. When you get mad that it is a fake, DHGate is not going to protect you because you bought a fake thinking it was real.

There are millions of amazing items on DHGate that you can get for dirt cheap. Not all have to be fake goods either. There are plenty of things that you can buy that don't copy a brand name. Hell, there's even enough things on there to buy half of the items you use on a daily and yearly basis that you can get for a quarter of the price in America. (Why pay $30 a shirt for brand name? Buy 20 or 30 for $5. So what if its fake, you wont be selling it to other people, and it looks like you buy fancier clothing too. Look nice, and pay a nice price too!)

Anyone here who sells on dhgate? I might be interested in buying a verified seller account with PP option.
