Is there an easy way? Or is it kind of guess and check? Oh, and would market *****, or any other tools, help with this?

google trends and pick something you know about, and have some interest to keep you focused and driven. After all you have to enjoy what your working on.

I also like to check out Alexa. Sometimes I get inspiration from there as well.

There are stacks of places for a bit of inspiration, I tend to look at:-
Google Trends
Google Sets
Google Product Search
Ebay Pulse
mysimon top searches
yahoo buzz
technorati popular tags.

There are so many more but you should find plenty through those!

just start with the google keyword tool and go through the categories till you find something of interest. Also use Google insights

check maybe with google trends and google keyword tool and you must check this post:

Thanks for all the help guys. And OnlineGodFather, thank you. That link is very helpful. It's gonna set me on the right track for sure:D

For anyone who has problems in deciding what areas of interest to target for possible ?niches?, here?s what I?ve done recently to start generating some ideas:

Imagine waking up tomorrow and realizing? You Just Won The Highest EVER Lottery In Your State?.

Now, once you?ve gotten past:

I. Setting aside money for taxes!
II. Finding a good attorney and accountant and getting them on retainer
III. Helping out friends/family members
IV. Paying off any consumer debt you may or may not have?

Simply ask yourself the following:

?What do I want to do now that I never have to work a JOB again? What would my new found interests be??

Here are some ideas that popped into my head when I?ve sat back and thought about that very thing, which have led to some pretty good niche ideas:

  • I?d go out, buy some land and build my own custom house! Thus, since I don?t have a degree in ?Architecture?, I?d more then likely would go hunt down the best software that would allow me to do this!
  • I would also consider adding a few additional items, such as:
    • Tankless Water Heater
    • CCTV Security System
    • Armor Door Jam to all exterior doors.
    • ?Green Friendly? products throughout the house?both inside & out!

  • While the house is being built, I?d run off down to Arizona and attend the Bob Bondurant Race School and get behind a nice Corvette Z06 or high powered Caddy!
  • After that was over, I?d then go after one of those 1 or 2 day ?all day drives? where for a flat fee, you get the chance to drive high-end exotic cars, such as a Ferrari F430, Lamboghorni Gallardo, Audi R8, Corvette ZR1..etc., etc.

  • I?d then follow that up with probably buying a sport-bike?(Honda/Kawasaki)
  • I?d start buying $5K suits and high priced shoes!

  • I?d look into Real Estate Investing, specifically short-sales/foreclosures.

  • I would even consider buying a Motor-Home and cruising around the country (USA) and just experiencing life!

  • I?d start looking into attending some of the more prestigious sporting events?think ?The Masters?, ?Super Bowl?, ?World Series??etc?.

  • I?d start looking at high-end racing simulators to fill the man-cave I?d have in my newly designed/custom home!

  • I?d also be flying all over God?s green planet! I?d be hitting up places like Vegas, New York, London, Paris, Sydney, Scottland, etc.,etc..

Bottom line is?with that new found financial security, a LOT of opportunities now open themselves up to you for the taking! All you would have to do is find a way to capitalize on them because in reality, there are others out there who ARE coming into that type of money everyday!

Hope that helps in some way?

There's a brand new feature on BHW called
