Find Your Support System - Pay It Forward

So here I am, sitting on the computer finishing up some work and all dressed up ready to go out and celebrate the 3 year anniversary with the girlfriend. It really got me thinking about how important a support system is since this day also pretty much marks my first 3 years in the IM industry.

Being an entrepreneur is hard. There are highs, and there are lows. Some days you are super excited to wake up and get to work, and other days you just want to sleep that extra hour, or 2, maybe three XD. The goal is to minimize these days so you can be as productive with your time as possible. This is where having some sort of outside support is essential.

You will never succeed if you yourself do not have a drive. Plain and simple. Sometimes your drive falters though and this is where these people come in.

I have met so many great people from around the entire world during my IM "career" and become friends with a lot of you. I am not really sure why I am writing this post but I guess the point is to give back.

Support comes in so many different ways and when I first started, there were a few of you who actually took the time to answer my questions and give me solid advice. We have all been there. Give back to people, encourage them, do not lead them astray. Is 50 dollars worth it? How about 100? How many times have you turned away a client because you did not want to spam the shit out of their site?

Be good to people, give back, and keep going.

Plus there is the added bonus that for all you know the individual that you help out could be a great IM some day that is an expert in an era where you need help! They might make it there because you helped them years before.

Between community of support, and reciprocal help there is no point not to help others! A great message!

well said. i have a young family and they keep my drive alive. My support network is here on BHW. You see everyday people helping others and just knowing that that kind of help and support is available keeps me going also.

My main reason for joining BHW was to make friends with like minded people who work in this weird job/industry that many of my family and friends have no clue exists.

This is so true. Internet marketing is literally life changing for some people, which includes myself. Without this, I would probably be at a job I hate, dealing with a boss I cannot stand.

While my family does support what I do and do try to understand, they really just do not. I love how there is this community of great people who know exactly what is going on and you can bounce ideas off of.
