I sell online rep packages to clients and found another way to find these clients that I want to share with all my buddies here at BHW.

Signup to Groupon, Scoutmob, Living Social, blah blah blah, heres a link to 10 of them

Every time you receive a new email from which ever one, check the offer companies Google local reviews. The first time I did this the doctor had 12 negative reviews all within the same year!! Sent him a letter based on 7878 info (but I spiced my letter up a bit) and he called me 3 days after I sent the letter. Is he a client... YES!!!!

Anyways, rinse and repeat. Hope this helps someone.

Ha,

I actually wrote a guide on this way back on another forum. It worked ok,but it is a very saturated technique in major cities.

Groupon can be a good lead generator, but keep in mind these businesses are being bombarded with calls and emails. If you have any sense, you'll wait until weeks AFTER you see them on groupon and "follow up" with them about they're expreiences with groupon. Whether they did well w/groupon or not doesn't matter - it's still a great way to get your foot in the door and talk to the decision maker.

Direct mail is a great way to do this. I agree. Direct mail is on it's way back, as so many people are doing email marketing. It's just about getting your message infront of people so they see it and it resonates with them. Ranking in Google is a "saturated" market too, but lots of people are doing it. Continue to mail and rake it in!

Another good way to expand on this is to use Yipit to aggregate all of the deals in your area. The beautiful thing is that just by scanning the daily emails, you can see the reviews right in your inbox for a bunch of companies/reviews!
