finally starting first IM site

Hello all,
Long time lurker here, first time posting...So i'm finally giving in and starting my first niche site to monetize, took awhile to figure out a niche i could settle on but going with a '3d printing site' as there is very little competition and it's AWESOME. Most like going the adwords and guest posting route initially with a hint of social media to get my site out there. Any way, wondering if i should just go ahead and attempt to build my 3d printing site myself or not, wondering where to even begin getting this entire thing going....sorry if it's a very vague post but hoping yall could give me general advice on building up my first wordpress site, fiverr services to help set it up and add content (or should i attempt to write the site content myself?)....are there services to basically BUY the initial starter site with content for cheap (on a kroger associates salary so far from rich), and just any other general advice for getting this all going. Oh and i'm starting out with affiliate products just so you know. Thanks and again sorry for the very vague post.

you gave your niche and all so it's not as vague as you think

I always suggest that for your first sites that you do as much of the work as possible yourself. it will help you to understand the who, what, when, where and why to being succesful

Content Writing: DIY, Text Broker, or iWriter

Ya i'm an unabashed tech geek/progressive type.....EXTREMELY excited about this technology and other forms of 'mad science' type tech. Can't believe it took me so long to figure out a niche that I could truly be interested in. Niche like this I'm pretty sure doesn't have much competition, good to get in on the ground floor I recon.
