Finally, My Journey thread. AKA - What Have I Gotten Myself Into

Alright, so here it goes.
After years of lurking and half assed attempts, I have finally bit the bullet and jumped in. No wait, randomly through happenstance I am now " Social Media Director" for two clients.

Did I mention my only real experience is offline promoting club parties conventions, and a brief stint as a "survey manager" ...

IM Worldwise, i did dabble in some content writing, chaturbate (duh), the whole adfly thing (i dont think i ever cashed out my .00000000093 whatever).

There was a bit coin phase, which i absolutely slept on, and assorted other half hearted attempts. But, BHW did give me the knowledge to bullshit my way through whatever happened to get a small but needed check every month from these people.

So here it is -

Personal - $0
Pay - $500 (split evenly once a month)

Resources:
Upgraded Freeware Account to edit, Photoshop, Googlefu
some sort of stock photo account where i can spend their money for stuff
A graphic designer who isnt cheap cheap but profesh enough to help
An overworked IT guy who can answer text questions and possibly help if bribed appropriately.

Things I have so far-
A sparse facebook event and admin rights.
A brochure, and an order for 6 ( did i mention im not a graphic designer)
A laundry list of future projects
Several "domains" and " facebook pages" created by previous people who probably knew about a half cup more than me.


I managed to wow them with a brochure last month, and my ideas seem to spark enthusiasm... ( they keep talking about getting me to the next level) but i realize outsourcing is going to be a priority, especially since both clients have hinted at pushing me towards their network, and i have two others in the wings.

Its important to mention I'm doing a semi pro bono project at the same time (dum,dumdumdumdum!)
So stay tuned for the wreckage or the unbelievable success.

I'll update as i go.
So far I've survived a month and netted - 500.
Spent - 0
Projected expenditure this month - 100.

Marketing for a training program, though right now its alot of sitting with the web design/videographer and stumbling over how to get their fingers to create the vision in my head. It's a bit of a clusterfuck as the "client" is difficult, goes off on tangents and tends to undo anything the team makes if i take my eyes of the project for longer than a day. But they are also brilliant and a certified weapon so.....

He's complaining because he's on the back burner. But there's no polite way to say " if you could figure out tf you want, id be happy to help you" that would keep my face intact . I *am* getting training and a ton of knowledge, but its not putting pesos in the purse as of yet if you know what i mean.

There are promises. But theres always promises. Im still kind of psyched by it though.

The move right now is frantically consuming any and all tutorials available and using my wiles to extract expert advice from friends more qualified than I am. Canva has been an affordable help.
