I've made a few dollars here and there on Amazon, but after experimenting and trying a few different things I've finally been able to break into Amazon and my partner and I have made some decent sales over the past 2 weeks. It's not a lot of money at the moment and it doesn't come close to my adsense income... but it's a decent start (about $30 so far) and it's scalable for sure.

Anyway, I was just excited about the progress so I felt compelled to let it out.

Can u give us more details on what u did. I am about to start with amazon too.

Well thats really good for u :D try scaling it up and make it closer to your adsense income.

Well done, is it best with Amazon Affiliates to get the cookie in their computer ASAP?

I read this somewhere on this forum and think it is probably true lol

Nice to hear that. Are you using it on the same sites that you are banking with Adsense ?

No the amazon sites are quite different. I'm going for more of an authority site. The sites aren't utilizing EMD and I'm continually adding more pages to the sites. One site already has about 30 pages added to it.

Well I'm going for brand new items or items with very low search volume. The competition is even farther below the competition we go for our niche adsense sites. We're targeting words such as "best ____" or "____ review". Sounds like it would be a lot of work for little searches, but I have a writer that gets the content done for a good price.

congratulations.... so your only trying to rank for your titles or for multiple keywords?

Congratulations! Can't wait to read about it on your site.

Wow 7 Sales Already .. Nice. It took Me about 2 months To get My First Sale For $39 , Are you selling products that are low in price or no?

Because I figure it Would Be easier to get more sales with a cheaper product.

Well, i'm only really targeting the title "main keyword of each post", but I'm ranking for a few keywords within the post it seems. I've been using stat counter to track progress and people are finding the site by searching keywords I never intended to rank for.

Since i'm pretty accustomed to building niche sites, I tried throwing amazon on some micro niche sites, but what I figured was that when I split tested it with adsense, I was always making more with adsense. I think it was because I was never targeting higher priced products. Also it isn't until now that I got my hands on a good copywriter. I don't like writing articles at all, haha.

Anyway, that's awesome that you've done well with your site in just a few days. Have you replicated your process several times already?

So is the site based on one niche, for example computer parts. And then all your products maybe something like computer ram, monitors, hard drives, etc.?

Yea, that's pretty much how we're doing them. We're trying to get ranked up pretty well so that we'll be well equipped for the holiday sales.

Even i dont like writing articles...;)

This is my second micro niche site, first one was launched in august 2012... :) but my second site is growing at the maximum rate. Got one more sale today and yeah i am selling low price product kind of $50 to $80.

But one thing i dont do like you is adding adsense on amazon affiliate site, i rather use amazon widget on the advertisement boxes because google adsense does not always shows what to want.

how many amazon micro niche sites you have built so far?

Well the Amazon sites I'm talking about in the original post are not micro niche sites. There's two of them at the moment and one has about 30 pages on it so far and i'm adding new posts constantly. I also didn't add adsense to these sites at all. On the other hand, the micro niche sites that we've been running with adsense are doing quite well. We're almost at $5k a month with those.

so are you guys getting traffic only based on your keywords or are you driving traffic to your site some other way?
