Finally joined after lurking for a few weeks. At one point I thought discovering WF was great until I found out about BHW. This site is just golden.

Figured if I can absorb as much knowledge as I can here and take action, I'd be able to get out of employment and do IM full time.

I tend to view IM as a game; I have to acquire certain skillsets, build the necessary network, and adapt my playstyle based on the current environment to come up at the top.
