Finally got round to learning PHP, heres a great tutorial, any tips?

So i've finally got round to making a proper effort to learn PHP. I have been avoiding it for too long and relying on quick fixes and other peoples code to achieve things.

Really, just for anyone else who was thinking of (or is) learning PHP I wanted to share this tutorial I found - http://devzone.zend.com/article/627

It's well written (and even fun at times) and makes the process much easier.

Does anyone who has already mastered the in and outs of PHP have any other advice?

Unless you're going to become a freelancer and master php, it's best just to learn it and move on with your IM. It's time consuming but really good for configuring plugins for WP.

ive just gotten into learning php again. it never hurts to know how to code up your own tools or scripts

jimbo, are you reading any books? im also looking to learn php, idk if i should take a class here in community college
