Sorry to ruin the party. This is not authority backlinks. Same as people selling PR6+ Web2.0s, they are not PR6+ they are N/A and just to sell better. Profile backlinks are also PR N/A and should only be used to diverse your backlinks profile, and they won't give your website magic credit, because theese links are close to 0 in value.

Thanks for the TED site though.

I see Vendors doing this crap all the time. Rep+ to the OP for a well-intentioned share, but sorry no, you don't have a PR9 backlink just because the site's home page is PR9. I got "scammed" by a BST seller here that was popular for a while in this way. He was selling PR "X" backlinks, only the profile links I got were PR N/A. The sites they were on were pretty piss-poor too.

I didn't bother to SL him because it seemed that everyone here knew what was what and I was going to look like a 2-bit douche for making a big deal about it. So, I just decided that I had spent $30.00 getting an education on what quality backlinks are and are not.

OP, that would not count as a PR 9 backlink.

If you could get the link on the homepage that would be really a high PR 9 backlink.

In fact some people call high PR links from web 2.0s because the domain has high PR but that doesn't mean a new built subdomain web2.0 backlink would have the same power.

Yes why is it still allowed for "pro seoers" to sell "high pr" web 2.0s when they are litteraly PR N/A. I still dont get why its allowed, when all in all, its just to get sales. A PR 9.0 Web 2.0 sounds better than a N/A Web 2.0

Thanks for clearing this up because I ran across this on a blog a few days ago. That blog had those two in the OP plus some others. I had this on my "to do" list. I guess I can scratch that one off lol.

Newbs should take note. Learning SEO on forums is like picking through the litter box, looking for gold.

Did you get link on pr9 page, actual page or it is home page but the link page rank is NA?

You won't get much benefit...

Its a PR n/a link. It will be counted as profile link and with homepage PR9.
If you get a link from actual Page with PR9 is the main concern. I just got myself a PR7.edu link on actual page and that is also homepage ;)

Okay guys, I everyone are telling the same thing that you won't get PR, blah, blah, blah. OP has learnt the lesson. So, maybe give him some useful info, instead of telling him the same thing.

Don't listen to these people. High PR domains give a lot of juice even if the page is N/A. This has been the case ever since.
Of course there are other factors like spam %, tier 2 links and etc. but in general high pr domain is a great place to put a profile link.
I have 300 pages ranking well and make $200/day with this strategy.

I mean think about it. If you are new to SEO, you must have done at least some type of article marketing on ezine.
When you create an article, they are N/A. But yet if you put the article in high pr article sites(as your Tier 1), your money site increases in serps.
If you use web2.0 free blogs as your tier 1, your site will be PR N/A but your money site serp increases.

This thread is full of so much FAIL .... OP, those are good links to have. Having some nice forum profiles from high PR sites WORKS. And yes the higher the PR of the homepage, the better quality the profile link, EVEN IF the page itself is PR N/A. When people sell these links it is assumed that you understand this. It is not a scam. You get exactly what you are paying for. 10X PR8 links for $30.... did you really thing you were going to get 10 links on PR 8 pages for $30..... it would cost you $3,000 PER MONTH to rent 10X Homepage PR8 links! Forum profiles work great, they even rank pages on their own. It's much better to have 50 PR 5+ forum profiles than 50 PR 1 forum profiles.... that's why they are advertised as such.

Anyway OP, keep searching out properties like the ones you posted. Put you info their with as much content as possible, link to your site.... ping those links, and watch your rankings slowly rise.

Oh right you earn 200 usd a day, and are the same guy asking which free blogs accepts affiliate links... Yea right... And the same guy who belive www.subdomain.web2.0.tld actually shares linkjuice with web2.0.com...

Go spam your 200 web2.0s to some more sites and expand to 2000 usd a day plz

Listen to this man, no-f links do not pass PR, but they do pass some domain authority, and these sites have a LOT of domain authority to pass..

Sooner or later (or most likely never), when you make enough as I am and continue to make more or grow at an exponential rate, you will ask people in here, which web2.0 allows affiliate links with google adsense because there are not that many around. A lot of web2.0 do not rank in google and the ones that do, do not allow affiliate links and adsense. I create 10-15 webpages a day and they all go to page 1-2 in a week or so. I am not going to buy domains for each page. I am not going to group them together in one domain because if that domain gets a penalty so does every page in it.

However, I am not here to debate what I do. Do whatever you want or believe whatever you want. I am doing pretty good making money by climbing the serps, that is all that matters to me.

To the OP or anyone else, if you want to learn more about what makes a good backlink, you can look at this video, I may not agree with it 100% but it explains a lot.

Even if the page pr is n/a, it's still a great share OP. Now imagine if you built some authority to those n/a pages
