I only read fiction when travelling, I mostly like to read technical reference books. I have quite a few autobiographies that I have bought and I will read them "when I retire". If you like autobiographies I can highly recommend Faithfull by Marianne Faithfull. One of my heroines of the sixties and seventies.

I am fucking astonished. (but it's not over yet) I was fully expecting some lunatic fringe group to hijack it and cause carnage.

I don't like it raining on weekends. What to do? nothing, I just eating, watching films, and sleeping until the rain stops.
 
Well, it seems I don't have this problem of trying to decide, I have to go into work :-(

If you're thinking about terrorist attacks, yes, unfortunately they can still happen.
But there have been so many different restrictive measures (you know I've understood NOTHING about this whole grey, blue, red, etc. zone thing) that it's mitigated the risk all the same.
And you can also see that all the cops in France and the rest of the country have had their leave cancelled to be 100% available for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Not to mention foreign cooperation: we've had brigades from other countries coming to lend a hand.
I know that this week, all demonstrations have been 'banned' because of an attack alert.
The good news is that, in the end, everything went well and we saw something we haven't seen since ... I don't even know when: HAPPY FRENCH PEOPLE!
Seriously, it's as if everyone had taken LSD, people are so happy, calm and relaxed.

I'm not doing any of that as I practice expansion of mind and horizons naturally because it's more beneficial in general.
This quick stuff is available on the internet, but it's illegal in most countries.
I heard better opinions on natural shrooms. Probably gets you better connection with roots.

I used that 5 years ago. It had too many side effects to repeat it often. I bought it from darkn.

I really hope so, the weather has been fantastic and I slept through most of it. I am up at six thirty in the morning to get started and off to an early start, with luck I will be back shortly after lunch and I can lounge about in the garden, because tomorrow is supposed to be fine too.
