finally came up against VERO :(

hello guys. been selling on ebay for 6months now. everything has been fine. finally decided last week to try a new product as i found a supplier for something that is selling very well on ebay. i listed the item and then get an email stating that my account has been restricted for 7days due to listing an unauthorised item.
why has my item been removed, yet sellers with low feedback are selling 10 of these items today???
reviewing my listing i dont think i did anything wrong. although i did use a googled image of the item. is this against ebay policies? should i have taken a photo myself??

how do i avoid this happening in the future?
i want to sell the stock i have, but do not want to run the risk of my account being restricted again, or worse - suspended.

any advice?

Would help if we know what the item is or what the listing looked like otherwise it's a pretty wild stab in the dark.

sorry, beats by dre headphones. and before anyone asks - yes they are real. i just listed the item with a short description and a image from google. vero notified ebay that it was unauthorised.
im just angry because i dont know how my listing is any different to all the other sellers who sell on ebay and seem to have no problems??

ok, your image for one is a major issue, always use your own images and stick in your ebay ID if you can

re Beats, your price will be a giveaway as to wether they are real or not, which model and what price were you listing at?

Do yourself a favor, take a risk, make a website, send traffic. You will never regret that decision.

yes the image will help so much, it is recommended not to use generic picture use unique your own pic, or you can pay someone who have the item to take picture for you..

Seems like VERO is a big issue for many sellers.

You should take your own pictures and write more in your description. Don't put your email address & phone number in the auction page as ebay will remove them. If you haven't opened the box, just google image it & choose the ones with big sizes.
