Finally, '301+ views' instead of '301 views'.

I think the average YouTube was confused when they saw it had 1k+ likes and only 301 views. Then, you'd also see those comments 'like if you're the 301st viewer.'

Simple, yet smart, fix on their part. Should keep the whiners quite.

Does anyone know when they added this? Must have been quite recently.

I have no idea, but I'm experiencing the same thing and find it pretty funny. Ahh well.

It depends, some of my vids cross 301 mark within 6 hours and some take about 36 hours. So Youtube is the boss, they do what they want

If I were youtube i would just remove the view metric from the public.
