Finally 18... what should I do first?

my advice , became independent , self employed ,never give up , make your life bright and help parents.

Congratulations Bro!

Find out what your strengths are and what work you enjoy.

Set high goals and collect new experiences on the way. The gates are open.

Cheers!
Happy birthday

You have already completed many things I would do like setting up PayPal, trading account etc... Now find yourself a business idea you'd like to pursue and stick to it. Or find yourself a job if you prefer that more, you have many options, you're still young and you can do whatever you want so use that wisely. As other members said, you will figure it out no worries and no pressure.

I believe in you, you're on good path ;)

Thanks guys. I guess I should set more goals.

Goal at 19 is about 50 k NW (€).

It will be a bit difficult with a base salary of about 12k :O but I already have 1/5

But I think goals should be ambitious... I guess
Live your life, few more years and you will be fucked up with loads of shit on your head.
Set yourself a financial target for your 19th birthday and hit that target.
Hopefully in 12 months the world travel will be back to normal and if you've saved a decent amount, then go see the world.
I already have a decent amount saved. Planned on visiting the US during summer but that doesn’t look to good
I like that idea. Sounds productive. Also, happy b'day! :)
Enjoy life and explore what can. You will figure things out eventually.
Sleep all you can, you'll miss it soon enough.
Trying too ;)
get some chicks
Get higgggggggggggggh, hit the floor before you go
Become a Jr Vip and buy bitcoin
And use the unlimited PayPal monkey generator... right
Open credit cards to get good credit score, thank me later! :)
Credit scores are a bit different in Germany compared to the US, and as far as I know having multiple credit cards actually damages your score here
I basically have a perfect „Schufa Score“ Herr although I never had a credit card. The German system is a bit weird in that sense.
If I were you, I would read posts such as, "Things I wish I knew when I was 18", or "What not do to when you turn 18".

It is important to focus on the things you CAN do, but don't forget there are also things you should avoid.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, now that you have set up your Paypal account, send me $50.

Danke! :anyway:
Still waiting for verification :O
I‘ll use the money generator in the Jr. VIP section.

Bitte ;)
actually this is pretty good. Would have never thought about recommending this, even though that is exactly what I did when I turned 16. Got me a basic credit card, and begged family members to let me purchase their stuff using my new credit card and they pay that portion of expense of my credit card statement. this allowed me to establish credit early on. It really helped me. again, very good advice.
altough our credit score system is a bit different, using the cashback/miles Systems for the credit card is definitely a goal of mine
Make a few REAL friends within 3 year.

Very HARD than making money.
i was riding bikes spending most of time smoking and drinking also struggling through severe hangovers at 18.
Guess i got no suggestions. Live it. That's it.

Time flies. Enjoy as much as possible.

Not sure what's available in a pandemic, but you should probably stay safe until after everyone's vaccinated.
Yeah... At the current speed in Germany I have to wait till I‘m 19 then ;)
my advice , became independent , self employed ,never give up , make your life bright and help parents.
I think always trying to be a bit more independent is really important. Even if you can deny a shitty job, because you have „fuck you Money“

Mate, mate! Just kidding. Live your life for now. Trust me, you will never get this time back in your life. Don't waste it.

If it’s your birthday what you doing on here?
Get out and enjoy it. If not spend it with your family lockdown permitting.
Worry about what to do with your life tomorrow. Enjoy the day.

My tips as an older guy, make some money, see the world and live at home with your parents untill they kick you out (will never happen if they love you), living on your own is just a waste of money, better use it in your work/life .. =)

Happy Birthday to .. =)

Form a legal company in your country. I create mine at 20 and it changed my life, made me take things much more serious and taught me a lot about life.

keep moving, dont fall into a slump of depression over how shitty everything is, don't get addictions, everything in moderation. do some exercise regularly.

5 years in & You'll wish you were a child again
Nevermind. Growth is life.
