Filter OUT introduction (or other) forums

It is kind of annoying having my Home page clogged with introductions that aren't really useful to me. Sorry if that's mean.
Maybe there is a way to do it with "live feed", not sure cause not jr vip. But, it would be useful to be able to filter out certain things from the home page.

The homepage isn’t really “your homepage” its for everyone As there is no telling what people like or dislike we keep it available to all.
