Just thought I would let you all in on my experiences with this so far. I did some research and it seems like filefactory and megaupload off the best payout. Also, it doesn't look like you get anything out of mediafire at all, lame.

Although you will reach payouts much quicker if you just stick with you program I recommend signing up for both.

FileFactory's reward program has different sets of tiers. First, you gain commissions (20%) from everyone that signs up for a premium membership and this helps you move through their copper, bronze, silver, gold, platinum tiers. These levels decide how much you make for every thousand downloads of a certain file size.

Yes, you get paid differently for different file sizes. These are the three size tiers: 20mb-75mb, 75mb-125mb, 125mb+; Yup, you guessed it again, you do not get any credit for downloads of files under 20mb. This is where megaupload comes into play.

You do not get any commissions for premium member signups, also, downloads by premium members do not go towards you payout. There's more, there is no cash reward until you are credited 500k downloads. Before this amount you can only earn free premium membership (1 mo, 6mo, etc).

Well then, what's the point of megaupload right? FileFactory will pay you through paypal every month as long as you hit $20. Also, as long as you get into the bronze tier, you can upload 20mb files and you will be ahead or at least on pace with megaupload's point system. My reasoning is that you will be hard-pressed to pass up all of those <20mb files. I mean, how many ebooks here at BHW hit that mark? Not very many that I have seen.

Yes, you could always just fill up space with some high-res wallpapers and that may help keep members from shunning your downloads but if all they want is a 2mb ebook they will turn away from your 20mb downloads. I say just use megaupload for everything under 20mb and filefactory the rest of the way.

A couple things you need to know. Before either program lets you cash out they make sure that you have premium membership yourself. Do not redeem your points at megaupload for memberships. You could just pay for a month's membership, redeem a cash reward and you be left with more cash in the end. Make sure not to get a premium membership too soon. You can still upload and rack up a high payout and then pay for a membership right before redeeming anything.

I do not want to post all the rewards/points here because you can just follow the links to see the details for yourself but I am thinking you really will not be making much money just uploading until you get 1 million downloads with either method. Of course, you should be making a nice amount of cash with your affiliate links in the ebooks. The right ebook in the right forum could easily bring in $10-$20 per day.

Well, I am off to start signing up for forums. I will post results when I see them. Hope this works out nice for me.

Yeah, its not my intention to market to BHW, I already know it does not work. Besides, it kind of goes against what HaRRo says in his posts.

All that being said, it would be dumb for me to not plug in my affiliate links if it is relevant and a contribution. We are all doing IM to make money that we can live (hopefully luxuriously) off of. If I did not give it my all it will not work.

So me "shamelessly" plugging in my affiliate link is more just a matter of principle than actually expecting people to copy and paste it into their browser and go crazy with FileFactory.

I have been combing this forum every day for the past week. There's so much great info here, but it seems you stand out more often than not my friend.

Ok, so I decide to do this and upload let's say, to Megaupload. Should I be using a proxy to upload these files to maintain my anonymity? wouldn't that be a good idea?

Just trying to stay under ANY radar.

What I mean by this is using a proxy when uploading to the sharing sites cuz obviously they have records, and if some big marketer or company finds out that a given program is on a sharing site they may not stop until they get what they want. [I might be what you would call paranoid]
