File Locker vs Content Locker

Hi guys,

I was wondering what exactly the difference between the two is.
When you use a file locker, you have to point it to a URL where the file appears for download right? (Like Mediafire or whatever)
Can't you just do that with a content locker aswell?

yes you can, but with a file locker you may not necassarily have to own a site, take for instance adscendmedia they have a file gatweay where you shrink your link and they lock it for you no site needed.

same as in content locker pro ?

You can do it in locker settings page of CLP 2. You can specify redirect to any address once locker disappears. It can be anything. So user gets whatever you promised to him.
