What functionality exactly? File formats have different functionality, hence they're different formats. If you convert a .doc file into a .pdf, you won't be able to edit it or at least not as easily, when it was a .doc file. If you convert a formatted .doc file into .txt, the document loses its formatting. And so on.
What formats do you want to convert to what formats and what functionality do you want to preserve?

Hi thank for responding. For example, I would love to convert a VPN software (TunnelBear) into a doc file and see if it can still be downloaded
and installed as VPN software. I this possible and any advice
