Hey guys,
old white hat turned black here, but you can consider me an apprentice. I am fed up with waiting for links to happen naturally so I am kinda helping one of my new sites in non-competitive niche. I am earning very little there, it is basically an experiment to learn the ropes.
I bought a few deleted domains with nice links (not many but nice) and did a few web 2.0. I did no spam or Tier 2 except what was already there for deleted domains.
What I want to figure out is the minimum effective dose, the number of links that will be sufficient to rank in positions 1-5 without overdoing it.
Clearly each site, each niche and each keyword will need different amount of links to rank. What I am doing is adding links one by one. Add one and wait, if didn't work add another one and wait again.
My question is how long should I wait for link to take effect?
Is two weeks is reasonable? Or you should be seeing results in one week? Did anyone try similar exercise? If so, what's your conclusion? Tips?
