(Skip this introduction if you'd like to just see the method, but I wanted to tell you all what BHW has done for me. I also wanted to thank all of you that have contributed to my success.)

My Journey from 16 y/o drug dealer, to a somewhat successful IM for my age

Hello, fellow Internet marketers, my name is Austin, and this forum along with the help and knowledge from all of you has helped change my life more than any of you will ever really know. It introduced me to marketing, business, etc. I was 16 years old, drug dealing... HARD, making more money than I knew what to do with...

I bought the best car that was at my school, 07 335i ;) I was living the life and thought I was invincible. But nothing good lasts forever, and long story short, I got charged multiple times with possession, upon other charges and thousands in fines. I was in more car repair and lawyer debt from the crash and charges I had then I knew what to do with. I had no one to help, and no mommy or daddy to ask for money from.. because it wasn't there. Car payment was due in a few months, I had to pay these lawyer fees, and fix my car... I was desperate for anything I could do to help my family with the expenses as drug dealing was no longer an option after being charged multiple times..

I then came across this forum while I was searching how to do something for my computer class at an elective school I was at.. I bought a VPS so I could bypass all of the restrictions that the schools had the internet access (Youtube etc.) I put my head down, read, read, implemented and implemented, failed, tried again, but kept going.. I'm here 6 months later at 17 almost financially independent.. I have 15 plus websites I've designed, made thousands.. was able to pay for my lawyer fees, and all of the court fees I had.. This never would've happened if it wasn't for you all, so I sincerely thank you all..

As a token of my appreciation for the help you all have given me, I am disclosing one of the methods I am currently using to generate a pretty solid stream of income ($10-$20 a day average) although with this method it is usually bulk sales that you make.

ENOUGH WITH THE SOB STORY JACK, GET TO THE METHOD

IF YOU CAN SELL, YOU WILL MAKE MONEY WITH THIS METHOD!

Product - Fidget spinners, the cooler designs you can find the better
    Source - Aliexpress (duh)
Target market - Childen (This is key, they are young and emotional, but have no credit card)

You can go different ways with this method, I personally created a website drop shipping the item, but social media is completely filled with ads for them, and they don't convert very well. SO WHY?

BECAUSE YOU'RE ADVERTISING TO AN AUDIENCE WHO HAS NO CREDIT CARD OR PAYPAL

Of course, I sold some through the website via social media, but the bulk of my sales came from local retail stores. The reason this is such a lucrative marketing position is that when a child comes in (your target customer) they will almost always be with their parent (person with the bucks)!

This is why on Instagram kids hound you for free spinners and other free shit because they're not cash ready. BUT GUESS WHO IS? THE PARENTS! Especially after their child is the one hounding them for one in real life, not behind a screen. Its worth $10 to keep their child occupied, let alone quiet them down. Pretty sad but kids are spoiled nowadays.

To get my product out there I went back to old school marketing, face to face, cold calling, and personal texts and snap chats to people I know that own a small business.

You say hey I have all of these fidget spinners and they're selling like fire, WHICH THEY ARE. You ask if they offer them at their store and if not show them how much money they are potentially losing. They will KNOW this because they see everyone with a fidget spinner nowadays, they have seen a spinner one way, or another. It would be a bad marketing decision on their part to not place a child toy in plain view near the checkout/register as an upsell.

I would contact them and would work out bulk deals at a "Wholesale" price of $6-$7

I had one client order 30 the other day, 2 of every kind I had. I told him id do 32 for the price of 30 and broke it down in numbers for him, people love to see proof when buying something or investing into something aren't completely knowledgeable about, let's break it down.

One unit costs you say $3 on average if you sell at $10 retail (through your site) thats a %300 ROI.

For my client the other day I broke it down like this.

You know what my man, I really like your vibe and how you conduct business. I'll do 32 spinners for the price of 30 at wholesale. The retail for the 30 spinners you chose to order was 352.60, Since you're buying in bulk I can get 32 of these in your hands for $220 shipped to your store front, in fact I'll provide a 30 day full money back guarantee if you can't sell them, because I know you can! You can either leave the 30-day money back out of the pitch or include it, but it makes buyers much more open to the idea of investing into a product they've never sold before

If you market these spinners at the lowest price I've seen retail which is $9.99 each, your gross for the 32 spinners would be 319.68, giving you a nice $100 profit on a $220 risk-free investment, because if you don't sell them and get paid, neither do I. I love the store, I come here often and I think we could do some great mutually beneficial business.

I have a hot product and you have an awesome retail front, let's do this thing!

EASY SALE, Let's DO YOUR NUMBERS NOW

You sold 32 spinners for $220, which cost you $96 total since they are $3 each, if not less. I've seen them at $2.40 - $2.70 recently.

You didn't have to fill out orders, buy plugins, manage or design a nice site (even tho it helps)
And you also sold all of the product in one swift move, saving time, because time IS money.

I have been contacting smoke shops, locally owned gas stations, mom and pop shops, family owned retail, and thrift stores. The possibilities and twists are endless here.

THANK YOU BHW FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE FOR ME, NOW GO BANK!

Good method, I rank 1st page for fidget spinner. The amount kids that ask for free spinner is out this world. As You mention the audience do not have credit card ready, So the conversation rate quite low but even out because of the huge amount traffic the website receiving. But Great Method For people looking to tackle this niche.

Nice idea, I was thinking of something similar to this the other day when I had a look on ebay and someone was offering 500pcs at less than a $1 each! Think I might go and click the buy it now button now :)

Every day! "I have no money" "Can you sponsor me" "I will promote you" and then some emails that don't even make sense lols.

These tricks will work much better in tier 1 countries. In poor country, everyone knows how much everything costs on Aliexpress, and set their baseline from there. The moment you try to conduct business with them, every merchant's reaction would be to check costs online. So its a blessing for you, living in a country where people aren't doing their due diligence :) . Only way of doing it in poor country, would be actually being a merchant and selling a piece to kids. Kids are only ones naive around here.

I think the best idea is getting the traffic and sell it to Other advetisers for that age range.

Like said conversion crap even at the top

Why don't you run a giveaway or something like that and monetize with CPA?
