Fiction writing

If we are talking about game. Definitely RDR2. That's the best fiction game I had ever played.

for me the story of Subnautica (1st game, not the DLC as well) is one of the best (if not THE best) story of any video game that I ever played.

Now granted, I am not a keen gamer (I probably played less than 100 games in total in my 30+ years of video gaming)... and I am also not into story-heavy games either. But even so, Subnautica had been GotY 2018, and the story is one of its main pillars and it's great. I encourage every video gamer, every grandma, every toddler, and every pet to play Subnautica if they haven't done so already.

And if you do intend to play it, do yourselves a favor and do NOT look ANYTHING up about the game! The magic of Subnautica happens only on the 1st playthrough, and only if you don't know anything about the game. If you look anything up at all about Subnautica you will have missed out on an amazing experience and you'll end up like most die-hard Subnautica players: wishing that your memory was wiped out so you can experience the story, the discovery, the thrills, and the exploration all over again.

That's all I wanted to say :)

For me, some of the strongest fiction writing I’ve seen is in The Last of Us. The character depth and emotional pacing feel as powerful as a great novel.

In books, The Name of the Wind really stands out for its voice and storytelling flow.

Both pull you in completely, just in different ways. :)

most of the games which are popular have missions and all missionary games are fiction based. Like GTA, horror games etc

The best fiction I enjoyed over the past 20 years has been The Sword of Truth series.
