Few webpages disappeared from search, getting deindexed

Some of my top ranking webpages have disappeared from the search for last 2 weeks, maybe core update or I don't know.
They used to rank top 5 but now simply deindexed from search i used Site: query but I think it's just not accurate because when I copy-paste text it doesn't show.
has anyone faced this, if so what could be the reason, I am thinking of build few more backlinks and wait.

It happened to one of my site as well, literally all my rankings are gone from this site overnight. It's still saying the pages are indexed but nothing when I search the exact term for my pages. I'm just building links and waiting at the moment and doing some internal linking from time to time.

Exactly the same I am doing, I am building links and changing content as well, let's keep updating if something changes.

I haven't changed my content, just internal linking right now and building links.
