Few SEO noob question - please help

hi bhatters, i just have some questions about seo.

1) i have an long tail keyword, how can i know this long tail is raking up on google while i do seo things? i must search manually? or exist some software to do this.

2)if i build lot backlinks with pages with domains PR5, do-follow, how long takes this keyword jump to first page if this keyword have few competitors (just for test purposes, dont need be exactly just to give me an idea)

You should buy X-rumer or Scrapebox depending on your budget. They are both great programs though, either way you should be able to achieve a long tail keyword with either one.

The more backlinks you have of any sort are good backlinks. PR 5 are great though, but the more backlinks you have of anything will always help you get traffic to your site.

I'm a newbie. I do all of my backlinks manually, until I saw my competition backlinks, so I decided to purchased scrapebox tomorrow (xrumer is too expensive for me at the moment).

2. You can tell how a keyword is ranking up on google by by typing

intitle:"the keyword" inurl:"the keyword" in the Google search

and check the number of results that comes up. Intitle means the number of website that put the keyword in the title and inurl mean the number of website that put the keyword in the url.

The less number of results the better which means you have less competition targeting the same keyword. Also check your competitor websites for the number of backlinks they have

I used Traffic Travis (free version) and Google Adwords Tool to do keyword research. I hope my information helps you.

The easiest way to see if your site is ranking for that long tail keyword in google is to type the long tailed keyword into google. If you're not on the first page, or on top of the second page, you need to do more backlinking and on-page optimization.

Simple as that

No one can tell you. If we worked for google and knew their exact algorithm then we could tell you, but then we would get fired and probably killed lol.

Focus on getting those links indexed in google. If you can get them indexed you have a much better chance of ranking higher than your competitors. And if you have a low competitive niche then you shouldn't have to worry about them having a lot of backlinks. Just build backlinks consistently and you'll be fine

Keep working at building your quality links. Do on page and off page optimization. No, we cant tell you how long it will take to rank. Get some tools to automate your link building like scrapebox if you can and outsource your xrumer blast for now to someone in the services section. The reason i say to outsource xrumer for now, is because there is a learning curve associated with it.

i know no one can say how long takes to rank on google (or maybe only an google worker) but i asked just to have an idea

To give you a ballpark, you can rank for a non-competitive long-tail in a week or so with good content, on-page SEO and off-page SEO, none of it is ever certain though.

I have anothers questions:

1)I have some keywords to rank up , is good idea each domain i do backlink i putt all keyword as anchor text, or for each domain i do backlink i should add few? (or how many is the limit?)

2) Suppose i want sell oranges (just an theory), the best way to create backlinks is:
