I have been reading a bunch of the forum, sometime I worry I'm doing too much reading and not enough work, but I think learning more can always be useful. I still feel like there's a lot I could learn.
For about the last month I've been trying to get a streaming movie / tv show off the ground to make some money with that after I read this thread which has become pretty popular:

I'm not sure if posting my site in this post would be a good idea for whatever reason so I will refrain from that, but think it would be alright to PM it if people wouldn't mind taking a look.
For about a month and a half I've been trying to work at this method due to <$10 in my account I'm feeling pretty demotivated so there's a few things I have been wondering;
1. Is Cpa*L3ad a terrible network to be doing this with? I have heard people complain about the length of the surveys or whatever. On the other hand I see people post there earnings in the chat and they are making money. I don't know any other networks though. I assume email submits would be easier but are those allowed with this type of thing? I would like to stay whitehat until I can start earning some amount of money (I'd be ecstatic making $50/day right now).
2. While promoting it seems like there is just a million people using this method, is it possible these types of sites are too saturated?
3. While trying to get my site popular should I not have any gateways on the site for a couple weeks while still advertising and upping popular things? I'm sure this would encourage people to actually tell their friends but I worry there would be a very negative reaction when I did put gateways up.
Of course if anyone with experience wants to give me some guidance via pm or an IM client I would be eternally grateful for that as well.
