Few questions about optimization

Hello Folks great forum and i learn allot, but after reading allot about link building stuff seems i miss the most important basic optimization
and here my questions :
1- do i can repeat keywords on title or not
examples title : directory blog, moves blog
or title moves and directory blog
and why
Please if anyone can redirect me where i can read better about this better
2nd i have add some linkback in footer for some directory to submit me since it i lost 10 position in some of the keywords why google acting like this

It is okay to repeat keywords in the title. My general rule is to don't overdo it, however. I'm not completely following you about the footer links. But it is normal for your rankings to bounce around in Google. I regularly have things go from 15 to out of the top 50, only to have them come back after a week or so.
