Few questions about my site, google analytics? gmail?

Hi everyone,

I have a wordpress basedwebsite and I need an analytical tool, I read some bad things about GA, like the data collected by them can be used/delivered to my competitors, probably by paying larger bid (But I'm not so sure) and now searching for alternatives.
Do you use it? you have any suggestions?

My second questions is about gmail services, do you use it for personal use and business? anyone use different mail? if yes, why?

I have been using Google Analytics for ages now and i find the data that they provide to be highly helpful in improving my site. I've never heard anything before about your GA data being delivered to your competitors. I use gmail for both personal and business. However if you want an alternative when your purchase a domain name with a web hosting company you can set up a more professional email address with them

Google have to earn somehow from the "free" analytic service they offer.
So I heard that it is like as they were to ask you, hey would you please deliver us information about your customers? what do they like? who visits your site, what do they search for? how much they spend and on which category? and then use that information for their own good.
