So, I signed up for with the Google Webmaster Tools, and so far it looks pretty cool. But I had two problems:

1.) It said it can't connect to the DNS server. I talked to my hosting provider, and they said that the domain verification changes DNS settings and it will take about 48 hours. Is this the case?

2.) When I try to fetch a webpage, I get a "redirected" error. i figure this has something to do with the DNS, but I thouht I would ask anyway.

I really like GWT, I just want it to work. Any similar experiences you can share?

    I know the solution.

    Your site is like this?
    www.your-site.com

    or

    your-site.com

The problem occurs when you add a wrong version in the GWT. Let's say your website was like this [www.your-site.com]. You added the non-www version and now the non-www version is redirecting to the www version.

You need to add the correct version of your site.

Hey! that was it. I see that there is a difference. What about the www site? I mean its the same thing right? They both go to my blog.

They are the same but you should use the webmaster tools account for the non-www version whenever you want to see your stats or make any changes.
