Hello guys just a quick question , i was going through webmaster tools and i came across " Fetch as google " and from what i read it has something to do with uncrawled pages . I used it on a blog that is not yet indexed and after it showed " success " fetching the url , submit to google option appeared . Well the blog is not yet indexed but i wanted to ask would this help indexing pages in google? It also was weird being only able to do this on 500 links .Thanks

Don't bother with it, just post link to your site at few web 2.0 resources (twitter, facebook) and google will crawl it asap.

PagemarketingSEO,

Whether you post a link in one place on the web or use fetch as Google, the result is the same. Using webmaster tools simply expedites the process. You should note that it could take a while for your pages to show up in the index. How are you looking for them? Are you using the site:operator or are you looking in webmaster tools?

Hope that helps,

Shawn

I am looking in webmaster tools "Index Status" and it says Total Indexed " 0 ", it has been over a week since i made the blog . Also Crawl status shows 6 pages crawled at 2 days but afterwards no more crawling .

Sorry i dont understand what you mean by "hether you post a link in one place on the web or use fetch as Google, the result is the same"
