Well, there used to be a (sexist) joke.

The reason why females have cheaper car insurance is because the government pity them for their high accident rates, therefore making it more affordable for them. And since guys have lower accident rates, they set a higher insurance cost to compensate it.

No offence BHW ladies :D

ok I agree, women generally drive worse than men but this looks suspicious to me, nobody with valid drivers licence wouldnt do this.
also driver could be drunk, thats different...

If you're a male between the ages of 16 and 20, definitely. Sorry, but you guys are the biggest retards on the road.

Actually that's not fair to mentally handicapped individuals.. I'm sure statistically they are less likely to kill or cripple as well.

Does the insurance company care about how much of a retard we are, or how many and how bad the accidents we get into?
 
seriously.. im a guy, and i hope i dont do stuff like that when i get my car xD im kinda afraid of driving, i think i would only use the car to travell inside my city :)

Afraid of driving? Most people start driving around town before you get your license so when the time comes, your good at it.

i was never very good at playing Car Games :D anyway with so many accidents daily i tend to be extra precautious about driving

Those things go hand in hand. For the most part young male drivers are retards, hence they tend to get into more life threatening accidents.

Don't take it personally, I was once a retarted young male driver. You can either wait till your 25 and your rates will go down like Dumper says, or you can go for a full-blown sex change operation (coincidentally this is less expensive then insuring a young male driver).

Okay. I can handle the rates, actually I probably won't be the one paying for insurance anyways.

oh. ask your parents to let you drive around your area with them in the passenger seat. you get use to it pretty fast and driving games are not like driving really.

next time you go on vacation, try those Nascar simulators. they have them everywhere. (if you live in North america)
 
There are some female drivers that are amazing. My best friend can drive most guys into the ground with one hand.

Meanwhile... I am a really crappy female driver. Thing is, I keep myself away from the drivers seat because I know my driving is pretty substandard. Plus I am really careful when I do drive. To date the only ticket I've ever had was for letting my registration expire (when I first moved to GA I didn't know it had to be renewed by your birthday).

Definitely. There are female race car drivers that drive better than over 95% of the male population.
